Phase Four

Now in its third phase (2023-2024), the campaign prioritizes supporting agricultural projects focused on tree planting along roads and in various areas across the four governorates, as well as greening public transportation hubs, healthcare centers, and housing projects.
The National Initiative for Agricultural Development is committed to advancing and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals related to climate action and environmental protection. Additionally, it aims to strengthen community partnerships with civil society organizations and other relevant entities, while promoting youth volunteering in agriculture. This effort also aligns with the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030 and supports Bahrain’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
