The national initiative aims, through this platform, to introduce agricultural development projects available for implementation, which will have a direct impact on increasing local food production and reducing reliance on imports of crops that can be cultivated in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The platform will also facilitate the aggregation of this information in one location, accessible to private sector institutions interested in supporting projects that meet Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards and contribute to accelerating the achievement of sustainable development goals and the implementation of national plans and projects aimed at reaching net-zeroemissions by 2060.
