Bahrain International Garden Show (BIGS) is postponed to next year, the National Initiative for Agricultural Development has announced.
BIGS was scheduled for March 2020, but the decision to postpone was taken based on Bahrain’s deep sense of responsibility in dealing with the fast-paced developments and the Kingdom’s particular keenness on the health and wellbeing of citizens and residents amid the efforts to tackle the coronavirus (Covid-19) across the globe.
The decision is also in line with the instructions of the National Disaster Management Committee to postpone activities and events in order to support the Kingdom’s efforts in this regard.
Bahrain genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of the participants and visitors from Bahrain and abroad and the National Initiative for Agricultural Development is committed to supporting the government’s efforts in dealing efficiently with the unexpected and temporary circumstances.
